Shares of Walmart and Boeing are trading higher Thursday afternoon, sending the Dow Jones Industrial Average into positive territory. The Dow DJIA, +1.02% is trading 76 points (0.3%) higher, as shares of Walmart WMT, +0.18% and Boeing BA, +0.48% have contributed around a third of the index’s intraday rally. Walmart’s shares have climbed $5.63 (5.3%) while those of Boeing are up $6.71 (2.1%), combining for an approximately 84-point bump for the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the gain include Travelers TRV, +0.85%, Procter & Gamble PG, +1.22%, and Coca-Cola KO, +0.66%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark results in a 6.78-point swing.
