A four-year-old Jupiter boy who was last seen Thursday is still missing, even after police arrested the nanny he was last seen with in his home.
Police issued an Amber Alert just after midnight for Dominic Caprio, who was with nanny Blanca Castro, 57, in his home on the 100 block of Regions Way around 12:30 p.m. Thursday. His mother Danielle reported him missing around 1:20 pm. that afternoon when she returned home and found the two were gone.
Florida Department of Law Enforcement officers later arrested Castro in Miami-Dade County trying to travel to an address in Coconut Grove. But Dominic, who is 36″ tall with brown hair and brown eyes, was nowhere to be seen.
FDLE officers issued an alert saying the boy might be in the company of Elizabeth Caprio, 60, and Luis Caprio, 64, and traveling in a 2013 blue BMW with the tag number CBDB47.
Dominic was last seen wearing a gray shirt with dinosaurs and green shorts. He has a small pinkish red birthmark on the back of his neck and a small scar on his lower back, according to the alert.
Anyone with information about the case is urged to contact the Jupiter Police Department at 561-799-4447.
