The Dow DJIA, -0.94% was most recently trading 193 points lower (-0.7%), as shares of Dow Inc. DOW, -2.38% and Caterpillar CAT, -2.83% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. Dow Inc.’s shares are down $1.11, or 2.3%, while those of Caterpillar are off $2.34, or 1.7%, combining for an approximately 23-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Walt Disney DIS, -1.18%, Goldman Sachs GS, -1.58%, and Apple Inc. AAPL, -1.36%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow results in a 6.78-point swing.
