The Dow DJIA, +0.34% was most recently trading 78 points (0.3%) higher, as shares of Apple Inc. AAPL, +1.41% and Boeing BA, +1.36% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally. Apple Inc.’s shares are up $1.88, or 1.6%, while those of Boeing are up $1.95, or 1.2%, combining for a roughly 25-point bump for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Honeywell International Inc. HON, +1.50%, Chevron CVX, +0.96%, and Caterpillar CAT, +1.12%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index equates to a 6.58-point swing.
