Shares of Boeing and Raytheon Technologies Corp. are posting positive gains Monday afternoon, sending the Dow Jones Industrial Average soaring. The Dow DJIA, +2.32% is trading 558 points, or 2.2%, higher, as shares of Boeing BA, +14.39% and Raytheon Technologies Corp. RTX, +4.77% are contributing around 75% of the index’s intraday rally. Boeing’s shares have risen $24.25, or 14.3%, while those of Raytheon Technologies Corp. have climbed $2.74, or 4.6%, combining for a roughly 185-point bump for the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the gain include Dow Inc. DOW, +2.96%, Verizon Communications Inc. VZ, +2.87%, and Walgreens Boots WBA, +2.79%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow results in a 6.86-point swing.
