Shares of Walgreens Boots and Dow Inc. are seeing declines Wednesday morning, leading the Dow Jones Industrial Average slump. The Dow DJIA, -3.05% was most recently trading 538 points (2.0%) lower, as shares of Walgreens Boots WBA, -5.01% and Dow Inc. DOW, -5.91% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. Walgreens Boots’s shares have fallen $1.96 (3.7%) while those of Dow Inc. are off $1.69, or 3.6%, combining for a roughly 25-point drag on the Dow. Goldman Sachs GS, -4.19%, JPMorgan Chase JPM, -4.15%, and Exxon Mobil XOM, -4.03% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components results in a 6.78-point swing.
