Shares of Visa and Coca-Cola are trading higher Thursday afternoon, sending the Dow Jones Industrial Average into positive territory. The Dow DJIA, +0.47% is trading 55 points (0.2%) higher, as shares of Visa V, +1.79% and Coca-Cola KO, +1.43% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally. Visa’s shares have gained $2.68, or 1.6%, while those of Coca-Cola are up $0.82 (1.6%), combining for an approximately 24-point bump for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Cisco CSCO, +1.84%, Pfizer PFE, +2.16%, and McDonald’s MCD, +1.82%. A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components results in a 6.78-point swing.
