Chevron’s shares are up $2.53, or 3.3%, while those of Walgreens Boots have risen $1.17, or 3.3%, combining for a roughly 24-point bump for the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the gain include Boeing BA, +2.42%, Goldman Sachs GS, +1.35%, and IBM IBM, +1.45%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow equates to a 6.58-point swing.
