Goldman Sachs’s shares are up $3.93, or 2.0%, while those of Intel have climbed $1.06 (1.8%), combining for a roughly 34-point boost for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Microsoft MSFT, +1.58%, Travelers TRV, +0.61%, and JPMorgan Chase JPM, +0.50%. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components equates to a 6.86-point swing.
