Dow Jones Industrial Average Rises on China Hopes, Eased Iran Tensions – Barron's

Rising. The three major U.S. stock market indexes gained ground as U.S. tensions with Iran seemed to abate and China said Vice Premier Liu He will sign an interim trade deal next week in Washington.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 204 points, or 0.7%. The S&P 500 gained 0.5% and the Nasdaq Composite was up 0.7%.
