The Dow Jones Industrial Average is in selloff mode Tuesday afternoon with shares of Goldman Sachs and Dow Inc. facing the biggest losses for the price-weighted average. The Dow DJIA, -1.01% was most recently trading 350 points lower (-1.3%), as shares of Goldman Sachs GS, -2.48% and Dow Inc. DOW, -2.52% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. Goldman Sachs’s shares have declined $6.57, or 3.0%, while those of Dow Inc. have declined $1.40, or 2.6%, combining for a roughly 54-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Intel INTC, -2.76%, Apple Inc. AAPL, -1.78%, and Caterpillar CAT, -2.03%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index equates to a 6.78-point swing.
