Dow drops nearly 100 points on losses in UnitedHealth, Walt Disney stocks

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is falling Wednesday afternoon with shares of UnitedHealth and Walt Disney facing the biggest declines for the blue-chip average. Shares of UnitedHealth UNH, -2.74% and Walt Disney DIS, -2.28% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, -0.49% was most recently trading 95 points lower (-0.3%). UnitedHealth’s shares are down $8.28, or 2.5%, while those of Walt Disney have declined $2.90 (2.3%), combining for an approximately 74-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Salesforce.com Inc. CRM, -1.74%, Walmart WMT, -1.46%, and Microsoft MSFT, -0.86%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow results in a 6.58-point swing.
