Behind losses for shares of Dow Inc. and Apple Inc., the Dow Jones Industrial Average is in selloff mode Tuesday morning. The Dow DJIA, -1.01% was most recently trading 350 points, or 1.3%, lower, as shares of Dow Inc. DOW, -2.52% and Apple Inc. AAPL, -1.78% are contributing to the index’s intraday decline. Dow Inc.’s shares have fallen $1.62, or 3.0%, while those of Apple Inc. have fallen $6.56, or 2.5%, combining for a roughly 55-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are Caterpillar CAT, -2.03%, Goldman Sachs GS, -2.48%, and Intel INTC, -2.76%. A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components equates to a 6.78-point swing.
