The Dow DJIA, -0.54% was most recently trading 262 points higher (0.9%), as shares of Apple Inc. AAPL, -2.65% and Walgreens Boots WBA, -2.03% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally. Apple Inc.’s shares have gained $5.98, or 5.1%, while those of Walgreens Boots are up $1.20 (3.3%), combining for an approximately 47-point bump for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Microsoft MSFT, +0.65%, Goldman Sachs GS, -1.54%, and Caterpillar CAT, -0.30%. A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components results in a 6.58-point swing.
