Shares of Boeing and Caterpillar are seeing positive growth Friday morning, sending the Dow Jones Industrial Average into positive territory. Shares of Boeing BA, +1.89% and Caterpillar CAT, +2.24% are contributing about a quarter of the index’s intraday rally, as the Dow DJIA, +0.39% is trading 155 points higher (0.6%). Boeing’s shares have risen $6.94, or 4.2%, while those of Caterpillar have gained $3.86 (2.3%), combining for a roughly 71-point bump for the Dow. Salesforce.com Inc. CRM, +0.32%, Procter & Gamble PG, +0.38%, and Walmart WMT, +0.12% are also contributing significantly to the gain. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index equates to a 6.58-point swing.
