AAPL, -0.22% fell 1.9% in premarket trade Tuesday, and could be blamed for a chunk of the weakness in futures YMZ8, +0.40% for the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, +0.44% in the aftermath of President Trump’s comments about potential tariffs on iPhones. The stock’s price decline ahead of the open would shave about 22 points off the Dow’s price, while Dow futures are down 57 points. Meanwhile, United Technologies Corp.’s stock UTX, -4.14% rose 1.1% in premarket trade after the industrial conglomerate said it will separate into three companies, which would add about 9 points to the Dow’s price.
