Apple Inc. AAPL, +1.06% made several updates to its Siri app during its WWDC keynote Monday. Siri will now be able to suggest that you order coffee from your favorite place at the same time that you normally get your coffee. It will also remind you to call your grandmother on her birthday or draft a suggested text to your boss when it knows you’re late to your meeting. There will also be a new Shortcuts app that lets you create voice commands that set off a chain of actions, such as a travel command that easily gives you all of the details for your trip. Apple announced updates to its notifications as well, including an improved do-not-disturb mode that won’t tempt you with notifications when you’re lying in bed and an ability to group notifications by type. You will also be able to get reports on the amount of time you spend in each app each week and limit yourself to a an hour or so on a given app per day. Parents can set app allowances for their children. Apple shares are up 1.1% in Monday trading, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, +0.66% is up 0.7%.
